I've got the board running off of my server with its RAID5 plus it gets backed up to other computers across the network so rest assured any time it's down it's a temporary thing. I plan on keeping the board up indefintely. It must be obvious by now that I have no Thanksgiving plans... Btw, hope ever...

this is how i circumvented the problem, well, alleviated it rather. unless your bbs is just totally slamming, you probably only have one user in usurper at a time, so that when the user gets kicked out and is still online there are no other players in there, making it safe to delete the onliners.dat...

btw, in my opinion, my and everyone's comments regarding the bugs found are done out of a desire to help improve and benefit the program. as usurper patriots our input drives the change we hope to see so that all may benefit from our experience. while true there are a whole lot more that are much more severe. for example, a bug where equipment is doubled. you can easily get 2bil in short order if you do it systematically.

yeah the drive the board was running on basically crashed, but we were able to restore most of the files and data, and with older copies i had i filled in the blanks, and now i've even got the old file archive back online so everything should be in good shape. we will be going down for a portion of ...

also: team dungeon fighting enabled again on this one. the armors are closer to their original values (higher values caused the team problem) but extra ones are still there in a well-balanced manner. Other things I can't think of. Quicker level advancement. It's going to be great, go jump in.
