Hmm, was going to start my own topic, but also felt it was too small a thing to worry about. So I'll just piggyback on yours.
Greetings to all, I'm new to these forums as well. I've been playing Usurper and LoRD for about a decade now, though I'm not up to speed with the newer versions, I play for love of the game, not to be the most uber.
With that said, I look forward to learning as much as I can, and getting to know the people I play with. Cheers.

Welcome deathwysh. Most of the postings here of late, are off-topic, entered by spam-bots, not USURPER players. Spam-bots are kinda like NPC's, seldom good, always annoying.
We try to answer questions about usurper here. Jakob Dangarten the author of Usurper is the forum owner and administrator. Several SYSOP's that play Usurper and have it available are here, as well as many other usurper players.
I've played, beta tested and posted some about USURPER since about 95 or 96. Started playing in early 94, had to get an IBM-PC compatible to play locally. I try to let other players answer so I don't always jump onto the reply, unless it needs be. Once in a while there are questions, I have no idea about an answer to.(I know, I left a dangling particple, but, that's my job) to dangle particples:)
Most of the new messages here, are from the spam-bots, which I edit out the vile, and Jakob deletes them and their memberships.
As you have been playing on and off for years, you are a valued member. I believe you posted else where, you are currently playing at darksideresearch. The SYSOP there has hosted Usurper on and off for many years. I played there back last century
If I am not working or taking care of my grankids, I try to check here numerous times a day.

Are you the Deathwysh that I think you are? Darksideresearch's best game was being ruled by D-Dude, K-LoCo, and DeathAmongUs' nazi regime for a long time until Lord Sargeras single-handedly put a stop to it. He got powerful enough to kill them all pretty permanently and got the shops opened back up and the taxes lowered. When they got tired of dying and stopped logging back in to resurrect he committed suicide to start over and passed the throne to James who is a much better and more reasonable king than D-Dude ever was. Haven't seen them since. Sargeras pretty much pulled that game out of the gutter. If you haven't logged on in a while you might find the game much more enjoyable if you stopped because of them. Hope to see ya back.
