Usurper beta test results

Post by Lenny of Repan »

I successfuly upgraded an existing 135 character, 105 NPC game from version 0.19 to 0.20, with no problem using the convert19-20.exe program.
This game is my primary installation for beta testing, thus has a large number of characters, drinks etc. Daily maintenance /Hmaint took 2 minutes 31 seconds, running 500mb P4 2.6ghz running XP Pro. The 105 NPC's is a killer. Also relationships for everybody is activated.

The update to allow SYSOP control over number of pick-pockets worked flawlessly.
Have not tested the update on buying others drinks at Orb's bar as of yet. That will be probably be later today.

Thanks for the report Lenny =D>

I think I only changed the 'Orbs Drink' routine for the NPCS, not the humans

I will check this today.

Team challenges during maintenance

Post by Lenny of Repan »

during one the third maintenance on my fresh installation of V0.20a, I noticed that two different NPC teams attacked the same \"player\" team, even though the first encounter wiped out the \"player\" team. A minor bug probably at most, but maybe not. asides, aye dydst wanna test diz forum as well:)
