problems with new beta

ok in the game my name is duckroy and so far i've been having some serious problems. One when im trading with other players were trading and next thing we know were both frozen and lose the items we were trading. (i lost a 150,000 sword) Second of all i've waited two days and yet i have no more forest fights is this another glitch or something. Thanks for your time. roy

Now to yer concerns:

Aye doth believe diz bug has been around fer some time. Hopefully Jake will be able find de cure fer this.

Aye suspect tiz jez a matter of no maintenance being run. Ye doth not state, but tiz diz a telnetable site or a local setup. Ifn tiz a local, make sure that the SYSOP Editor option 67 be set to YES for automatic maintenance. The other possiblity, is if there are any characters that have \"dropped\" their connection, the automatic maintenance MAY not run.

And another question where is the best place to play usurper where it's updated and all me and my friend play on telnet://spbbs.ath.cx but they haven't seemed to updated the game but now im wondering if there's a better site that keeps updated and if their is can u give me the link so me and my friend can play the game where it's always updated and working. thanks

aye doth not no of any BBS's that hath version 0.20a running, but maybe spiffy here at this forum. aye doth not have hiz telnet address.
aye doth play lot at telery.com, but currently doth have 3 doors wyd v0.19b6 running. De SYSOP there doth NOT be a usurper player, so will probably update once v0.20 is well along.

thanks for the bug-report Duckroy. I have modified the online trading routine now, maybe it will remedy the freeze problem. I have traded with my characters on my test PCs without a problem.

We will see when the new version is released later today.
