Trying to play Usurper Local, 'Cannot Load DOOR.SYS file'

I cannot figure out how to run usurper locally, I got the monster.dat file and the Usurp.ctl file all set and read but I keep getting a \"Cannot load DOOR.SYS file\" messege then the Usurper window closes..there is nothing else but that messege, I am not trying to run the game through a bbs system just on my PC at work..
any help would be greatly appreciated,

If after following Rasputins instructions your usurper asks again can't find door.sys, here is a text copy that yu can save in your usurper folders. It is editable with notepad, and you can put your own information in if you want. http://knaper.org/usrp/DOOR.SYS.txt

copy it into your node folder, and name it door.sys
