Where can I pull down the source code? All the links are dead now.

Hi All,

I've been a member of this forum for 7 years but apparently never posted... which is weird because i thought i had in the past, lol. :P
Anyway.. I played Usurper faithfully on BBSes in my home city from 1994-1998, and from time-to-time have re-setup copies for fun/nostalgia; like many of you, I'm sure.

I'm here now, posting now, because I see Lenny hasn't been on in a couple years... his websites have expired, as the above poster noted; all the stats/data and history seemingly gone? I feel like the world has lost a great resource.

Does anyone have access to a backup?

Usurper was a very important part of my adolescence/growing-up, which makes me want to keep this community alive and healthy.
Lastly, some spam accounts/posts have gotten past the security measures: is anyone still actively moderating this board that can take care of that?

Lenny, if you're out there: we need you.

:) -hip

Hawke/Shroom: Just put Usurper on Github the other day, and have just finished working through a complete re-port. All my previous versions were flawed in some way, usually in different ways, so I've taken the good bits from each attempt and hopefully now have a pretty good version to work with.

Haven't actually tested the compiled executables yet, but you can pull the source and test it out here:
https://github.com/rickparrish/Usurper

EDIT:

Have now quickly tested the executables (found and fixed a bug in the win32 version (wasn't loading the door32.sys)), so have packaged everything up as release 0.23. It and the original 0.20e archive can be downloaded from http://randm.ca/usurper.aspx
