ok..

you may all know this already.. but i thought i'd mention it incase you didn't.

any DELAYED PAUSE in the game... LAGS other nodes..

for example.

[when stealing barrels, or beer drinking.. or anything]

jim attacks you ... (there is a pause between each decimal \".\" )

this lags.. i've seen this in every version.. and yes it is FASTER now.. but when you have 30 dogs and a crapload of rednecks after you when beer stealing.. this can realy lag other nodes..

but it just might be the programing language.. i dunno.

I agree. Additionally, I think the amount of money it takes to bribe NPCs to your team is ridiculously low.

Interesting.. As addition information, I believe you had probably Just created the Team. and I don't think you had logged off before this confrontation, but maybe you did. I will have to check this with a fresh door. I wonder if you had stayed to fight, if you would have fought yourself, or maybe your team-mate.

I've re-run your entry into the Gym twice so far, both times using Beth as my team-mate, as you did, without any problems.. As a base, I am using a copy of this AM backup of the door you used. I will next try it as you in the test copy. On examination of that copy, you had NOT created your team yet.
UPDATE: Tested 2 more times using test data on same computer as gameserver, using Joseph's character, creating same team, and controling same gym.. Not able to re-create bug.. appears to be random.

Joseph, Do you still have that entire log file you can zip and send to my e-mail address? Maybe then I can re-create every keystroke as well.

And yes, the latest is probably just a textual misnomer for Jakob.

He killed me. And took my items. But I killed him. Now, every time I've killed someone and they killed me at the same time, I've never been able to rob them! Why the Hell was he able to? He's a player character, by the way. And five levels below me. He broke into my room at the Inn and proceeded to attack me.

Also, I noticed. . . Even if someone kills you outright, sometimes they'll \"beg for mercy\" and you can kill them anyway.(As I'm sure happened in this instance, ahem. . . >_>;) Now, unless I missed my guess, that just should not be.

And another thing. . . What on Earth triggers a \"Beg for Mercy\" event? I don't want my all-powerful character begging for mercy. She's too proud to do that.

2 small things I and my players have noticed:

1 - Beer stealing - After you are done stealing beer, the display of the number of experience points is not correct. It just shows how many xp you get for knocking out a son, not number of sons knocked out timex xp. I think this is a display issue only.

2 - Marrage takes your money even when failing. So, if you are not 'in love' with a character, and try to marry them, the game will take your money and tell you 'you must be in love'. I don't think you should lose your money if the marrage doesn't happen (which is why im submitting this.)

There is a bug where a player can rob the bank as many times in a day as they want. After the bank is initially robbed it only gives a small amount of xp and coins from the guards in each robbery, but this can add up over time.

It takes a very long time of repeatedly robbing the bank to make any substantial money or xp, but in the short term it is possible to gain a few extra levels in an hour or two.

I'd recommend allowing only one robbery attempt per day. Either you succeed or you die.. there is no option to run in a robbery. At the most allow 3 attempts per day.

There is another bug where if you are entering the game (reading what has happened, bank interest etc.) and something can also occur in the game to allow your character to enter in on a ghost node (gang war, teammate taking you to the dungeon, drinking challenge). You will be kicked out of usurper and it will still think you are entering the game.
