Usurper Board

Today I logged into Usurper today on DarksideResearch and my immortal character is just gone. No suicide, nothing, just disappeared. He was level 4 (Major Spirit) and was at the top with lots of followers. I even checked the news. Yesterday's news shows me logging in and doing things with my immortal and no other mention of him after that. Today's news shows all my followers finding faith in other immortals and my character just isn't on the list anymore or mentioned anywhere in the news. What the hell?

That is odd... What do you do as an Immortal, anyways... I'm waiting to become one, myself.

That is really strange..
Does all the other immortals that were there before, still seem to be healthy?
Did you log out properly from your immortal character yesterday.
I ask, because the only thing I can think of is data file corruption.
You might send a note to the SYSOP as well, to see if they have any idea as to what happened.
From the SYSOP's editor they can toggle between
Deleted ( ) Yes ( ) No
Genenerally this would show the No selection selected.
The editor also allows the SYSOP to change the immortals alias, but those are the only fields displayed.
Nothing there for level or anything like that.

Maybe, someone else out there has some idea as to what is going on.

Thanks, I'll message the Sysop next time I'm on. I think I logged out correctly... Also XBurner, I prefer normal life to Immortal in Usurper...there's not a whole lot that's implemented in the afterlife area.

Oh yeah? Does GED let you do the whole... have a regular player and still be able to use the Enter As God thing?

Yep.

GED just did the same thing with mine on the... eh... Game 1, .20d Classic. This also after I had been stuck online for a week or more, but still. I've noticed that playing as a God isn't very fun at all... it's just kinda boring. You don't really get to do anything but amass followers. We should be able to grant mortals stuff like money, like $10,000/level or something.
