Just To Show What We're Facing On Vortex...

...it's just that bad, yeah. A Shadow Overlord and I had a good battle yesterday because he kept casting spells and they'd always fail, but I knocked 51k off of him before he splattered me. It was pretty eventful.

Definitely a difficult level. I've seen where the SYSOP's have indicated they would be working on that problem, but that was also some time ago. From other messages I have seen, it's gets that difficult as you enter levels 91+. As I am back at levels 50+ or so, I see elevated hitpoints on the dungeon monsters, but nothing even close to that, roughly 10% of that.
Hopefully there will be refinements to those monster definitions at upper levels, soon.
NOTE::::
For those that are NOT familiar with level 90+ on the standard Usurper Games, Almost everything that can be edited by the SYSOP, has been edited at Vortex, and generally all values go to extreme quickly.
Most all armor Items add to hitpoints as well as other values. For example, Below are the ability increases when I strap on the highest priced Waist Item bought at the Magic shop for a cool $2,000,000,000 coins.
You strap the Belt of Sampson around your waist ...
Your hitpoints increase by +1,000!
Your stamina increase by +200!
Your agility increase by +200!
Your charisma increase by +75!
Your wisdom increase by +50!
Your mana increase by +150!
Your armor power increase by +400!
Your strength increase by +700!
Your defence increase by +700!
Several Armor types peak at $2 Million but the rest go to $2 Billion.
There are also only a few weapons, but there values also sart modest and go up quickly, to the Top Price of $2 Billion. There are also some weapons that are class restricted in a logical manner.

PS I am sending part of this to haakon, the SYSOP, that is a Member here.

This is a screen print of dungeon level 51 Monsters, just before I killed them all.
I have left my thoughts at Vortex, both public, and in email to Haakon.
Other users there should also do so, In My Humble Opinion(IMHO).

He needs to change it also so that attacking enemies can't take our necklaces or anything else we've strived/suffered for. Those Ruby Necklaces are mad rare and when you finally get one and some jerkoff kills you and takes it, you're left with nothing and sometimes it's a matter of survival in the dungeons on Vortex. It'd be safer to just let attackers only take like... cloaks, gloves/hands, face, arms. That way it's all easily replaced. The farter you get, money doesn't become an object, so replacing what 8mil in equipment isn't hard at all. It'd just make it more fun 'cause losing enchanted stuff that actually help us make progress sucks and it's very discouraging.

I haven't been so lucky to actually find anything like that, but I don't disagree with you. Especially as you say, someone that hasn't done much to get there, can by chance actually attack you and win, then steal those enchented items. BTW, I'm not advertising my strategies:)
Unfortunately, I know of NO flags the SYSOP can put on specific items, that make then unstealable from the original owner.
THAT would be a nice Option in whatever next version.
BUT, back on track, let Haakon know your thoughts. I have, and haven't decided what my strategy of play at Vortex will be for the foreseeable future. I had thought of going up to those high levels, and have advanced 30 or more levels lately, but now I just don't know.

Well, on Leveller, I've noticed that the only items we can take are the helmets. I was lookin' to jack someone's weapon on there and it only offered to let me take the helmet. Soooo... I don't know anything about setting up the games, but that might be in there?

Yeah, the SYSOP can specify which items can be stolen or not, but goes for types, not specific items.
It is all in the configuration file.

Oh, that's what I mean... not specific items, just the types. Like... no stealy of necklaces, or... whatever else.

No Problem there.
That's up to the SYSOP and the settings are #53 through #66 of the configuration file. One unusual item that he seems to allow, is the taking of inventory items, which often set to NO, but in Vortex case, seems to be set to YES.

Other things I'd like to see changed:
Honestly, I appreciate the NPC's. It'd be more easy XP if we can kill them easily and help ourselves level up a little quicker. But the lack of them hasn't made me miss them or anything. Unless he could set all the NPC's to be chicks, so we can all get our bangin's on and get free XP that way. That and letting us do some pick-pocketing to feel more ninja like if we want.
As stated, keeping our important items like Necklaces, Rings, anything we find in the dungeons that help us out so much. Any other thing like the cloaks, face, hands, ect... anything that isn't the 2billion items can be free pickin's 'cause they're cheap to replace.
The L91+ dungeons are impossible. I wouldn't mind at all to keep the enemies hitpoints as high as they are, as long as we get a huge reward of XP for each kill. They're all around the 75k+ hitpoint range and even though I'm hitting for 5700+ each hit, it's still impossible to kill even one if my armor's pretty well maxed out and I'm getting hit and only absorbing 26% of the damage. So I'd say, keep the enemie's HP, just give us higher powered armor (than they already are). Even higher power weapons would help out.
Uhmmm... this isn't so much of a suggestion, but a question. Can the Sysop's add more Massages to the Gym?

No, the current versions do not allow the SYSOP to do anything other than change the name of the GYM-Massuer.
That probably could be a future option though.

Yeah, that'd be kinda cool to be able to create our own massages or something.
And something for the/a future release... it'd be awesome if we could pay the weapon guy to upgrade current weapons. Is there even a 'future release' coming?

Ok, just wanted to let you know the monsters are fixed at 91+, rings and necklaces can't be stolen, and i'm not sure but i may have accidentally taken away monsters spells, unless I had already done that, so any questions/comments/concerns?

Everything's great, and I found a few armor-pieces in the dungeon's that have really boosted my d00d. Are there any weapons hidden in the 91+ dungeon's that'll help us put more hurtin' on the monsters/enemies?
