Too much chivalry?

Hi,

I'm just picking up Usurper again after about 14 years and I read some tips online. I saw a warning that said not to sway too much to the good side or the evil side... I'm wondering what the consequences are if you do... Especially because my character is maxed out at 30,000 chivalry points.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome back to the game Ryan, and thanks for the question.

As to the High Chivalry or High Darkness levels, I haven't seen any differences other than when you
reach 91+ levels and go up against the SB. Then it just affects which Door works best for defeating the SB.
Years ago, I ran tests to see if the chivalry/darkness made any difference with the Masters,
and I found no differences. In Battles, randomness is is the same, as far as I could tell.

NOW, having said this, is NOT to say that someone may show otherwise.
Please POST otherwise here.

When testing on my system, I use several different usurper versions, and can start with a new
character at any level needed for the test. I use the Usurper editor extensively to do this.
Recently, I was doing some testing on the effects of low Mental Stability due to use of the Steroid
Neon Kicker. I did find that when MS is below 70%, the Masters reduce all ability increases
by 1, across the board. I've checked with 2 different race/class combinations with 2 different Masters
thus far. This testing was done with version 0.17. I will be doing more testing before I finalize my
report.

I am curious as to how, it would affect the game.
