Is this a bug? It sure seems like it should be.

That's 5 attempts, which means 5 deaths, doesn't it?

Yep. How it's a bug, however, I can't tell. Five deaths means Game Over for that day. Pure and simple. Weither you're an NPC or not, if you die five times, you can't play anymore for that day, thanks to Jakob's magical programming skills. So, um. . .yeah. How's this a glitch?

Well, on our particular BBS we only get 3 resurrections a day. Should have mentioned that, I suppose.

Unless there's something else that governs NPCs?

Yes this is a known bug I believe. Somehow NPCs have the ability to fight and die to more than one guard..and I think if they are able to kill one of the guards they can attack the king. Also NPCs can actually fight THEMSELVES when attacking the king. One time Grismal attacked me when Grismal was my royal guard. It said something along the lines of \"Grismal has infiltrated the castle! Grismal has to face royal guard Grismal. Grismal was killed!\". Then Grismal was able to fight me, and I killed him (again).
