Usurper Board

Usurper is freezing on my Win98 machine after completing the entire installation process even when I run it in local mode!! Somehow, 0.18 works when I copy if from another machine just fine, but does EXACTLY the same thing happens when I reset the game from the editor.

All that happens is \"D\" is echoed and just sits there. Any suggestions as to what's causing this???

Found out what was going on. Usurper is now working. For some reason, after resetting the game, there is a pause for a full minute before it launches the game in local mode or through Synchronet. This wasn't happening before. Even tried extracting and testing on the XP machine then zipping xfering to the 98 server and extracting that, but the delay is still there.

0.20d works just fine on my XP machine but now it has a huge delay on the 98 server.

Anyone have any ideas to what could be causing this? Is there a patch out there that might help? Thanks!
