And A Congratulations To Chuck/Zimmer

Good job on Godding it up on Vortex. You'll find that being God on there is relatively useless. :P

I add my conradulations to Chuck/Zimmer as well.
Fortunately, He can play both as an Immortal and
as a Mortal. I believe HE is the first to choose this
option upon game completion at Vortex.

I think Taco Enthusiast defeated the Supreme Being
as well, but I am not certain.

Is XBurner the next one that will kill the Supreme Being
at Vortex?

Taco didn't, no... he sent me a bunch of his stuff and suicided I think. I could be wrong... which, I probably am.

Nah, I probably won't go for God. It's pointless to me. I Godded up on TBird's and have noticed that it's useless 'cause half of the options don't even work. Hell, some of the options as King don't work either. :(

No, I'm wrong... Taco did complete the game, but didn't return.

Thanks for the Info, XBurner.

Now for rest of us, does it seem that the upper
levels of Ultimate Usurper are more playable now?

Well... I'm able to go to L94 and the Salamander From Hell's are hitting me pretty hard and my armor's absorbing 98%, you get five of them in one find and they can put some hurting on you. One thing I'm very thankful for is that it appears they're not spell casting, so that's beautiful. I might try and go L100 tomorrow and see how I fair.

I think that's twice in a row now for Zimmer.

So, I've listened to some suggestions and the game should take slightly longer now. I recommend more people get into it, after running Ultimate Usurper for however long and adding that much more experience into the mix, and using all that experience to make Usurper Special Edition, I really have to say that I think that the Usurper SE could be about the most fun game of Usurper that I've ever played. More people need to jump in though or it won't be nearly as fun or challenging.

Oh, and check out our new telnet portal at http://vortexbbs.com !

I just came back to this board yesterday and am still getting caught up on all the messages...Thanks Haakon and Lenny for the props on taking out the Supreme Being...I know, I 'm about five months late there. Sorry.

Now that my school load at school as lessened up tremendously, I'll have more time to be active on the boards I enjoy (Yes, Lenny...I like your board...LOL).

Taco DID kill the Supreme Being, but he hit the \"Rest in Peace\" (or whatever it's called) option on accident. He actually wanted to try out the Immortal mode on Usurper.

You guys are right, though, even though you can play as both a God and a Player, the God option really sucks. You can only gain Havre from your believers (and that's based on what they choose to sacrifice to you). You cannot do anything else...and I know I gained close to 3000 havre points and still couldn't gain a level.

If someone ever gets their hands on the code and decided to \"upgrade\" the game, that would be one of my suggestions...along with finding out what that \"Dead Gorilla\" just north of the dungeons is all about. LOL

Haha, yeah... I found that once on accident.

I also did the RIP thing on accident back on GED and I was sorely pissed off.
