Open sourcing usurper?

Is there any chance of seeing the source code for usurper released to the public? I've heard that Jakob reads this forum occasionally, so I thought I'd offer the idea up here. I personally have some experience with C++ programming and would love to be able to contribute to the progress of this game.

Any chance? I think it would be a very good move for the game.

I emailed Jakob and he said that eventually he plans on releasing the source code to the public, but did not specify a timeframe.
